Every year, 1.3 million women are diagnosed with breast cancer worldwide. According to the American Cancer Society, thats a new case of breast cancer every three minutes.
Recent research by the Karolinska Institute in Sweden has found a link between oral health and breast cancer. The study followed more than 3,000 women and found that those with gum disease and tooth loss were 11 times more likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer.
